Rolfing Structural Integration aims not only to allow the body’s natural upright alignment in gravity, but to support clients in having a different experience of being in their body.

This form of body work focuses on the connective tissue, or fascia, which is an organ in the body that envelops and supports all of the anatomical structures in a complex web that interweaves throughout the muscles, bones, nerves and organs. Rolfing sessions apply techniques focusing on this fascial network, allowing the body to find it’s natural ease and upright alignment.
Fascia has been designated as an organ that interfaces very closely with the nervous system, which regulates your ability to function with a sense of safety and well-being within the world. As such, Rolfing is a supportive adjunct to coaching, talk therapy, personal and spiritual work.

Originated by Dr. Ida Rolf in the 1960s, this work was originally designed to be completed as a series of ten sessions so that it holistically addresses the entire structure, although you can receive benefit from just a handful of sessions as well.

Sessions consist of work on a massage table, as well as postural, movement and gait (walking) assessments before, after (and sometimes during!) a session. For this reason, clients are required to wear loose shorts and a sports bra or something similar.

Sessions: 75 minutes, $155
3 Sessions: $150 each
10 series: $1450
